Dia livre, Oba!

Dia 4 de Fevereiro a gente tinha um dia livre então tudo mundo podia acordar mais tarde. Depois do Café da manhã algumas pessoas voltaram para cama e os outros nadaram ou foram para a cidade. Os meninos preparam um churrasco bem GOSTOSO para galera!! Nos estamos conversando, escutando musica e relaxando na área da piscina. Foi muito legal e tudo mundo gostou!! Depois disso metade do grupo ficou no Hotel fazendo qualquer coisa e os outros foram para praia perto do Hotel até o jantar. Depois do jantar a gente combinou uma balada com os outros intercambistas com um DJ e musica boa até nosso grupo precisou ir embora para Rio de Janeiro – a ultima cidade da nossa viagem dos sonhos 2009...

Februrary 4th. Today was a free day, so everyone could wake up later if they wished. After breakfast some people went back to bed and others stayed by the pool, and went into the town. The boys had a barbeque for the group that was very tasty!! Everyone was talking, listening to music, and relaxing by the pool..it was a very nice day! After the bbq some of the group stayed in the hotel either in their rooms or by the pool, and others headed to the beach until dinner. After dinner our group along with another group of Rotary exchange students that had just arrived, had a dance together! The dance had a DJ with great music and it lasted until our group had to leave for Rio de Janeiro, (2 am) our last city on our dream trip 2009!

Balada!

Porto Seguro, história, cultura e diversão!

Dia 4.2. 2009: O dia começou com o city tour pela parte antiga da cidade de Porto Seguro, a gente conheceu as três Igrejas mais antigas do Brasil. Lá também nós experimentamos cocada e chocolate feito a mão dos indígenas brasileiros com o cacau da região. Daí a gente teve um tempo livre pra tomar uma água de coco ou um suco pra se refrescar na sombra como em quase todos nossos tempos livres. Depois nos fomos pra uma barraca pra dançar a onde todos os intercambistas reviveram, e durante 4 horas sem parar de dançar, nadar e andar de bananaboat, a gente tava muito cansado mas se divertindo muito com as competições e brincadeiras dos dançarinos do show, especialmente com o travesti que nos fez rir muito. A nossa programação acabou com o fim do city tour pro lugar a onde foi a primeira missa do Brasil a onde tinha muitos indígenas brasileiros que falavam uma outra língua e usavam roupas típicas indígenas. No fim do dia nos voltamos pro hotel, tomamos banho, saímos pro jantar na cidade e tivemos tempo livre pra passear pela cidade, voltamos pro hotel e dormimos felizes sabendo que no dia seguinte nos tínhamos o dia livre pra descançar.

The day started with a city tour through the oldest part of Porto Seguro. There we saw the three first churches of Brazil. We also tried cocada and handmade chocolate made by the indians with the local cacao. Then we had a free time to drink some water and juice to refresh ourselves in the shadow, as we always do.

After this we went to a place to dance axé where all the exchange students came back to life. During 4 hours of nonestop damcing, swimming and riding the banaboat, we got tired but had a lot of fun with the competitions of the entertainers, especially the transvesti one. Our program ended with the last part of the city tour where we went to the place where the first mass took place. There were a lot of native brazilians who spoke a different dialect and wear typical indian clothes. At the end of the day we returned to the hotel, took a bath and went to dinner. Afterwards we got a bit of freetime to walk around in the city. Then we went to bed for a nice sleep knowing that the next day would be completely free to relax and refresh.

ARRAIAL D´AJUDA

Ontem, primeiro de fevereiro chegamos em Aarraial d´Ajuda as 16 horas, depois de uma longa viagem, a gente chegou na pousada e fomos relaxar na piscina. Nos estávamos brincando na piscina quando uma parte do outro grupo chegou na nossa pousada para nos conhecer. De noite nos saímos para conhecer a outra parte do grupo, chegamos na pousada deles que era a um lado da nossa, também para jantar pizza. Nos começamos a procurar os intercambistas do nossos países, esse foi um momento muito especial pois tivemos oportunidade de conhecer outros intercambistas da região Sul do Brasil e trocar experiências com outros estudantes. Os alemães e os mexicanos estavam fazendo competição da quantidade de intercambistas, 14 alemães do outro grupo se somaram aos 10 do nosso e acabaram com os mexicanos.

O Belga e a menina da Índia ficaram felizes porque tinha uma belga linda e um indiano engraçado com rastafari em todo o cabelo. O Peter se apresentou se jogando na piscina da outra pousada, após comemos muitas pizzas fomos para cidade para tomar um sorvete e conviver mais. As onze voltaram pra pousada onde tivemos mais um tempo de convivência pra trocar cartões, cantar e falar tchau.

No dia seguinte após do café de manha saímos para mais um dia de praia, após uma hora de viagem em nosso ônibus, chegamos na pequena vila de Trancoso, depois de alguns metros de caminhada já avistamos a praia com sua cor azul esverdeada, então seguimos caminhando pela areia até chegar a barraca onde passamos nosso dia, esse lugar era muito agradável porque tinha camas, cadeiras e música muito boa, passamos o dia nos divertindo, nadando e tomando sol.

No final do dia fomos visitar um lugar chamado “praça do quadrado” onde tem um mirante com a visão de toda praia dos nativos, também tivemos oportunidade de ver manifestações folclóricas: rodas de capoeira e toda a preparação de oferendas para Iemanja (Deusa do Mar), como nosso coordenador Ederval Carbonaro está indo embora amanha, a gente fez uma despedida especial cantando e pulando em alemão.

Quando retornamos para o Hotel já era tarde então tomamos um banho rápido e fomos para o restaurante para jantar, tinha uma mesa grande só de maravilhosas, depois tivemos tempo livre na cidade para fazer compras e assim acabou nosso dia.

Yesterday 1st of january,after a long trip,we arrived in the city of arraial d´ajuda where we have already made ourselves comfortable at the “pousadas” pool.After a while,a part of the other group of exchange students came to visit us while we wereplaying arround at the pool. At night we met the other part of the group at the dinner that took place at their pousada.The moment we met the whole group was a really special one ,because we were searching for our compatriots looking forward to make new friendships with other exchange students.The germans and the mexicans were fighting for the biggest number of people each country had,but in the end ,México seemd to have no chance in front of the 14 germans from their group Who came together with our 10 other germans.

Our belgium Guy and the indian girl were really happy to see that the other group was hosting a beautiful girl from belgium as well as a really funy indian with rustahair.of course,Peter couldn´t have made his entrance better than jumping in the others pousadas swimming pool.However,we ate our piza and went to the city to have a good time and take na icecream At eleven we had to come back to the pousada,where we had more or less 1 hour and a half to change our cards,sing and finally say goodbye to eachother.

Next day,after a one hour bus ride we arrived to the beautiul beach of Trancoso.In Trancoso ,untill we arrived at a nice comfrtable beach “barraca”(place where they serve food,drinks and you can lay on sun-beds)where we spent our evening ,we made a few steps on the beautiful beach with its Green and marine blue water. During the day we had the oportunity to play soccer on the beach,swim and so on... On our way back to home we stopped to visit a square called “praça de quadrado” from where we had a beautifull view of the native beaches.We also had a folcloric show with capoeira demonstration and the preparation for the ritual of yemanja(goddes of the water).we also sang to our awsome groupleader Ederval,because He was leaving the next day.When we arrived in our city we took a shower and went in the city to have dinner.We ended the day with our belly full of good bahian food ,shopping arround the small village.

ITCARÉ - QUE LINDO!

- Dia 29 nos chegamos em Itacaré ás 19 horas num Hotel bem interessante, com uma piscina e redes em frente dos apartamentos. Depois nos conhecemos a cidade e fomos para jantar num restaurante com Buffet. Itacaré é bem pequena e as ruas são de pedras e arreia e tem bastante gente vendendo coisas na rua. Depois meia noite nos jogamos a Reilly na piscina por causa do aniversario dela!Julius e Leoni (GER)

- Dia 30 nós acordamos ás 8:30, tomamos café da manhã e fomos ao passeio para conhecer mais 3 praias.O tempo estava muito bom, não tinha nuvens. Para chegar a primeira praia nos andamos num bosque. Lá na praia tinha um rio de água doce e a água do mar estava dourada.

Depois nos andamos mais e chegamos na segunda praia onde tinha uma barraca que vendeu Tapioca. Os meninos estavam jogando futebol. Na última, a maior praia do dia tinha mais gente e um restaurante com chuveiros. Nos almoçamos lá e descansamos um pouco na praia para voltar ao hotel depois. Ás 7 horas fomos jantar no mesmo restaurante e depois fizemos compras na rua. Antes de ir para cama Ana Isabel e Tania cortaram o cabelo do Ederval.

- No dia 31 a gente teve duas opções e o grupo se separou.
Uma opção foi um passeio de 4x4. Durante do passeio nos vimos a natureza linda do Itacaré. Se você queria fazer snorkeling para uma hora, podia fazer, mas precisou pagar. No caminho de volta nos paramos para comer bolos muitos gostosos e depois voltamos ao hotel.

O outro grupo acordou bem mais tarde: ás 9horas para fazer uma trilha para a praia mais famosa de Itacaré. Nos andamos uma hora e chegamos muito cansados na praia.
Nos ficamos na praia três horas, comemos melancia e tomamos água der coco. O mar estava muito agitado e nós nos divertimos com as ondas. Depois voltamos na mesma trilha ao hotel.

Algumas pessoas fizeram dreds na rua de areia e pedras, outras fizeram compras para a viagem no dia seguinte para Porto Seguro!!!

29. We arrived in Itacaré at 8 at a very interesting hotel, with a pool and hammocks in front of the rooms. After we explord the city and went to dinner at a Buffet. Itacaré is very small with sand and Stone streets.
After 12;30 we threw Reiçy into the pool because it was her birthday.

-We woke up at 8:30, ate breakfast and left on a journey to 3 different beaches. The weather was great, with no clouds in the sky. We walked through the ´´jungle´´ and arrived at the frist beach. The beach had a fresh water river, and the ocean water was golden. After we walked a bit more and arrived at the second beach of the day,which had a vending stand for tapioca! The boys we playing soccer. The last beach was the biggest one of the day, and it had many people along with a tasty resturaunt and refreashing showers! We ate lunch and relaxed a while before returing back to the hotel. At 7 we went to dinner at te same resturant and later we went shopping on the street. Before everyone went to bed Ana Isabel and Tânia cut Ederval´s hair.

-Today we had to options and the group was seperated. The firstion choice was a 4x4 rid. During the ride we saw Itacaré´s beautiful scenery. If you wanted to go snorekeling for na hour you could do it...but you had to pay!! On the way back, we stopped and ate cake, and then went back to the hotel.

The other group woke up much later at 9 and left to go on a trail to the most famous beach in Itacaré. We walked for one hour and arrived very tired at the beach. We stayed on the beach for three hours and ate watermelon along wih coco water. The waves we very rough so we had alot of fun playing in them. After we returned to the hotel on the trail.

-The groups meet up and went to the same resturaunt for dinner AGAIN! Some people had dreds made on the street of sand and stones, and other prepared for the next days epic Voyage to Porto Seguro!
